The 2008 Merlot is a classic example of the rich body and character a Texas Merlot can achieve. It has a wonderful blend of fruit and vanilla to the nose, while still also delivering some minerality unique to good a great Texas Merlot. Made with fruit from the Texas Hill Country and High Plains, the wine was fermented in steel tanks and aged for one year in American and French oak barrels.
